Surveying Services
Berding Surveying is well grounded in the fundamental duty of a land surveyor: establishing property lines.
We begin by conducting courthouse and records research to lay the initial groundwork for determining boundary line locations and understanding the historical context of specific property lines.
By referencing record surveys and deed abstracts, our field survey crew locates existing field monumentation and lines of occupation, which may indicate claims of ownership or the location of recorded boundaries.
The information collected in the field is then transferred to our in-office database for analysis and resolution alongside the researched and recorded data. Typically, the results are presented in the form of a plat of survey, accompanied by a new legal description of the findings.

Berding Surveying provides an essential service for commercial transactions or refinances by delivering surveys that encompass both legal and physical facets of a property.
Our core competency lies in crafting surveys that adeptly convey crucial information for title professionals, purchasers, and lenders, while also accentuating the physical characteristics of the site.
